It’s official, Britain has gone mad for hot tubs. Across the country hot tubs are becoming an affordable, everyday garden feature – and ITV has created a new documentary that promises to lift the lid on the industry.
Hot Tub Britain features Consumer Credit Solutions’ client Blue Wave Spas (t/a Hot Tub Superstore). The family-run business, based in Blackpool, currently sells around 40 hot tubs a week to everyone from footballers to dinner ladies. Over the last two years sales have gone through the roof and the firm is currently selling a million pounds worth of spas a month – and many of those sales are on finance.
Sales Director Ross Phillipson said it took a while to get used to having the TV cameras around, but believes the programme will break a few misconceptions about hot tubs, “It conveys their affordability and low running costs plus it shows a real, family business striving to keep up with demand and look after their customers.”
